Attendees must have a valid Moving & Assisting Train the Trainer certificate achieved within the last two years. Please send a copy to coursebookings@hcpa.co.uk \nWhat does the course cover?\n• To understand the principles of safe Moving & Assisting\n• To recap on knowledge and understanding of the legislation underpinning Moving & Assisting\n• To recap on knowledge and understanding of the biomechanics of the spine and the importance of good posture\n• To understand risk assessments and the importance of standardisation\n• To undertake Moving & Assisting procedures safely including safety checks of equipment\n• To participate in a practical session with the following techniques: foot on a footplate\, sit to stand\, lie to sit\, falling and fallen clients\, hoisting\, slide sheets. \n*Please note: This course carries a course fee regardless of membership.\nDelegates who are late may not be admitted into the training.
