It explores the importance of enjoyable mealtimes by creating a positive eating environment and developing suitable meal plans. \nThe course focuses on supporting people to maintain a healthy weight and access a nutrient rich diet. It explores how to identify and respond to malnutrition and dehydration\, including in those living with dementia or dysphagia\, using the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST). \nLearners will also consider cultural and religious dietary needs\, menu planning\, and the role of nutrition and hydration at end of life.
