Without early intervention\, this can lead to loss of independence\, increased care needs\, reduced quality of life\, and the development of contractures. \nThis practical course will help care staff identify the early signs that someone may be at risk of becoming dependent on long-term bed care and explore simple\, realistic strategies to maintain mobility\, comfort\, posture\, and engagement.
