DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nCourse fee: HCPA Standard Member: Fully funded*\nOnly available for Hertfordshire providers \nVenue: HCPA Mundells Campus\, Welwyn Garden City\, Hertfordshire\, AL7 1FT \nThis fully funded study day will cover management obligations\, relevant legislation\, policies and responsibilities to ensure compliance with all legislation relating to fire safety. \nAdult Care Services strongly recommends that you send a representative from your service to this workshop if you or a colleague have not attended any of the previous Fire Safety Workshops held in the last 6 months. \nLearning objectives:\n• Outline of fire safety legislation and requirements\n• Steps to take to ensure compliance with legislation\n• Fire Risk Assessments\n• The roles of competent persons and carrying out due diligence\n• Tools and resources to help understand legal responsibilities\n• Evacuation strategies/ electrical safety/ PEEPs/managing contractors and review of case studies for serious incidents \n*Please note: As per our T&C’s\, this course carries a fee in the event of non-attendance\, non-completion or late cancellation.\nBookings of more than two delegates per site may be amended to allow access to all member organisations at the discretion of HCPA.\nDelegates who are late may not be admitted into the training and a cost incurred.
