Delegates will explore both commonly used and less familiar equipment\, including solutions such as Wendyletts\, turning systems\, adaptive equipment\, and other practical aids that can make a significant difference to a person’s daily life. It will also focus on when to spot if equipment is no longer safe for a person concerning sling sizes and ability therefore knowing when to make referrals to the Community Occupational Therapy teams. \nThe session is not designed to replace moving and handling training.
