It focuses on recognising similarities and differences between these conditions and the risks of diagnostic overshadowing\, including the potential impact on safety\, wellbeing\, and quality of care. \nThe course aims to build staff confidence in spotting early signs of change\, understanding when concerns may indicate delirium or depression rather than dementia progression\, and knowing how and when to escalate concerns.
