DESCRIPTION:Course fee: HCPA Full Member: Fully funded*\nAssociate Member: £37.50+VAT | ACE Member: £50+VAT | Non-member: £75+VAT  \nOne day course at HCPA \nDelegates will have an opportunity to understand the widespread nature of trauma within populations\, and how these can manifest on both an individual\, community\, cultural and national level. \nDelegates will learn how traumatic experiences\, especially those in childhood can fundamentally affect the way in which brain development occurs and will explore different types of trauma responses. They will also learn a key principle of being trauma informed is by looking beyond presenting behaviours and understand trauma informed approaches are not a specific intervention\, rather an organisational change to how people within all levels of an organisation are treated.
