HCPA has a number of open courses running at its Academy Education Centre this year. Many are aimed at providing clinical type skills, some are designed for nurses and some are more suitable for different types of care practitioners.

We look for subject matter experts to bring this training to care staff in a way that is engaging and practical. The advantage of sending staff on open courses is that they not only learn from the education received but they also learn from their peers who may have similar challenges which they have perhaps been overcome.

The sharing of knowledge in this sector is vital and our feedback from learners who come to open courses often highlights how much more they have learned by being off-site and sharing a learning space with other organisations.
