Upcoming Courses › Champion Pathways

HCPA Champion Pathways were developed to create succession planning and sustainability within the Care Sector while supporting providers with the best practice and creating a culture of prevention and how to work internally and externally with Health and Social Care Professionals.

The unique HCPA Champion model provides organisations with the opportunity to manage prevention and complex issues by up-skilling a staff member with a higher level of knowledge that they can then cascade to their teams through mentoring, coaching and training.

We have developed a series of Pathways suitable for home care, residential & nursing homes and Learning Disability support services. Currently, these Pathways are available at two levels; Foundation and Advanced. All Champions will participate in a series of specialist knowledge days for their chosen subject area which are delivered by local specialists from the NHS and social care sector.

Additionally, we can offer support visits from HCPA educators to aid champions in the implementation of their roles, working with professionals and cascading knowledge.
