Participants will gain insights into the effects of aging and learn the importance of adopting a person-centred approach when designing exercise sessions. \nResearch shows that chair-based exercises play a crucial role in supporting older adults by enhancing independence and mobility. These exercises can also contribute to fall prevention\, making them a valuable tool in maintaining overall well-being. \nThis qualification is ideal for Care Home and Flexi-Care staff who support elderly people\, equipping them to deliver both group and individual exercise sessions. Building on foundational knowledge\, the course explores the principles of adult safeguarding in greater depth and emphasises confident\, informed decision-making and effective multi-agency collaboration.\nLearners will gain the skills and insight needed to identify signs of abuse or neglect\, respond appropriately to concerns\, and navigate the complexities of safeguarding legislation and local policy.
