DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nCourse fee: HCPA Full Member: Fully Funded*\nAssociate Member: £56+VAT | ACE Member: £50+VAT | Non-member: £75+VAT \nOne day course at HCPA Campus \nThis training course is designed to equip care workers with the knowledge and skills to effectively support adults living with sensory loss. Participants will develop an understanding of how sensory processing systems work\, the different types of sensory loss\, and the potential causes and impacts on individuals’ daily lives. The course will place strong emphasis on person-centred approaches\, ensuring that care workers can plan and deliver meaningful support tailored to individual needs. \nThe session will also cover the role of legislation\, with particular focus on the Mental Capacity Act 2005\, and introduce the Sensory Framework within Hertfordshire.
