Understanding professional supervision practice (Level 4 Accredited qualification) – Cohort 6

Two day course

All sessions must be attended and coursework completed within agreed timeframes (T&C’s apply).

Day 1: 02/07/21 – 10:00 – 16:00

Day 2: 23/07/21 – 10:00 – 16:00

This course will provide learners with the knowledge needed to deliver professional supervision practice. Both theoretical and practical techniques are analysed in relation to legislation and performance management This course can be used to support those wishing to prepare for a supervisory role or to enhance the practice of those already in such a role

By the end of the course learners will be able to:
• Explain the purpose of supervision
• Discuss how the principles of supervision can be used to inform performance management
• Analyse how to support individuals through professional supervision
• Evaluate how professional supervision supports performance

Learners will be expected to attend all sessions, complete coursework within agreed timeframes (T&C’s apply), be engaged in learning, participate in all activities including group discussions, and be willing and able to implement the skills from the session

A Onefile (e-portfolio) profile will be created on the learners behalf to support them in the completion of their course
