Resilience Coaching: Supporting our Workforce in Response to COVID-19 Cohort 2

Aim of the course:
This 7 session course is designed to equip you with the skills to become your organisations Resilience coach. As a Resilience Coach, you will be dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of employees and promoting mental health within the service.
This course will provide the Coach with tools to:
- Identify signs and symptoms of stress
- Learn about coping strategies and how to explain these to others
- Practice coaching techniques to create good rapport
- Make sense of PTSD
- Recognise the signposting opportunities in Hertfordshire and the Employee Assistance Programme
The Resilience Coach will have the skills to deliver one-on-one coaching sessions and will be able to work with staff to create Well-being action plans. A toolkit will be provided to support the Resilience Coach and to work with all staff and leaders in order to create a culture shift with a focus to value staff. The Resilience Coach will learn to listen and signpost rather than give advice. In addition, you will be invited to worktime learning sessions providing CPD, these will be facilitated by Prof. Jim McManus, Public Health Hertfordshire. These will be held as remote interactive sessions.
Who is this programme aimed at?
This course is aimed at staff with a keen interest and passion to support employee’s mental well-being within the organisation. Ideally, you would be able to influence at a senior level to promote a supportive workforce culture change.
This session is interactive and will require participation from all learners. To allow for maximum engagement having your camera and audio switched on is highly recommended.
