Course description

This course will raise awareness and enable staff to promote professional boundaries and ensure this is built within the day to day culture

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course learners will be able to:
• Explain what are professional boundaries
• Identify why care practitioners need to be aware of professional boundaries
• Recognise what constitutes unacceptable practice
• Identify how to support professional conduct

Requirements and expectations

Learners will be expected to be engaged in learning, participate in all activities including group discussions, share their own experiences of working in the care sector, whilst respecting confidentiality, and to share best practice examples

Learners should have successfully completed Care Certificate training previously

A Onefile (e-portfolio) profile will be created on the learners behalf to support them in the completion of their course
