This course is delivered over two sessions (30th June,8th July ) and all sessions must be attended (T&C’s apply). This course has a coursework element which must be completed within 30 days of the course end date (T&C’s apply)

Course description

This course is to provide learners with an understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition, person-centred approach and knowledge of the importance of relevant communication skills when working with individuals,

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course learners will be able to:
• Describe the concept of Autistic Spectrum Condition.
• Explain the importance of a person-centred approach when working with individuals with an Autism Spectrum Condition.
• Identify the importance of effective communication for individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition.

Requirements and expectations

Learners will be expected to be engaged in learning, participate in all activities including group discussions and complete coursework within agreed timeframes (included T&C)

A Onefile (e-portfolio) profile will be created on the learners behalf to support them in the completion of their course
