Dignity in Care – Cohort 5
9 April - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
This course supports learners to understand what dignity in care looks like. It also supports them to learn how to support service users and others in a dignified manner
By the end of the course learners will be able to: – Explain what good customer care looks like and how to promote this – Identify how legislation guides our practices – Explain 7 principles of care – Identify practices that promote Privacy, Dignity and Inclusion Some learners will be able to: – Implement good customer care in care settings – Implement practices that promote Privacy, Dignity and Inclusion – Become Dignity Champions
Requirements and expectations
Learners will be expected to be engaged in learning, participate in all activities including group discussions, and share their own experiences, whilst respecting confidentiality
A Onefile (e-portfolio) profile will be created on the learners behalf to support them in the completion of their course
