Advanced Falls Champion Pathway
23 September - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Starting 23rd September 2020
This pathway is based on Hertfordshire and National standards. It is designed to up-skill your staff member in Falls prevention and intervention by teaching preventative techniques that can reduce Falls risk from worsening, or in some cases, even starting and how to intervene once a fall has occurred.
On completion of this Pathway, the Champion will receive a Level 3 Delivering Training qualification and a Level 3-unit qualification in Positive Risk-Taking and will be expected to act as a lead following the course to cascade knowledge to staff. It is vital that the chosen staff member is at a senior level with authority to supervise staff and the confidence to pass on knowledge.
