Employing an apprentice is easy follow these steps:
- Write a job description
- Find a training provider who will suit YOUR NEEDS
- Ask your training provider to Advertise through the National Vacancy site
- Shortlist (most training providers will do this for you)
- Interview candidates
- Employ the best of the bunch
- Induct them
- Set them to work and let the training provider manage the training programme for you
And you could save:
- Cost of Advertising
- Time by letting someone else do the shortlisting
- Energy/training costs in making sure staff have those all important key (functional) skills
- Costs of mandatory training covered by the technical certificate
- Costs of qualification training – the QCF units are included!
